The ways in which Vince played his most cherished roles in life, as a husband, father and Grandad, were always motivated by a deep and growing love for his family. And so it is with sadness that we share that Vince passed away peacefully on Monday. Dad was in relatively good health and had been for some time. We had a wonderful Christmas at home, together as a family. We were blessed with many opportunities to spend extra time with him over the past few weeks. His dear Gillian and our family are grateful for the comfort of our faith in the resurrection and the hoped for blessings of an eternal family.

My love to you and yours at this time.
We love Vince. I will never forget him opening up his home to me and the generosity he and Gillian showed me when I lived in Toronto.
Please give hugs to Julia and Gillian for me please. Love you guys ❤️❤️❤️

Grandad loved football !

So much so, that as a young man, he registered with two semi-professional football clubs, assuming the name of Reginald "Reg" Vine to get around the rules so he could play twice a week.
